West Papua Special Operations Commando Regiment or SOCR is the Elit Group Commando of West Papua National Liberation Army (WPNLA). This Group established to support West Papua National Liberation Army (Tentara Pembebasan Nasional Papua Barat).

Misi

Unconventional Warfare, Foreign Internal Defense, Special Reconnaissance, Direct Action, Combatting Terrorism, Counter-proliferation, and Information Operations. These missions make Special Forces unique in the U.S. military, because they are employed throughout the three stages of the operational continuum: peacetime, conflict and war.

The Special Operations Command Regiment (SOCR) is a command within the West Papua National Liberation Army (WPNLA). Special Operations Command Regiment (SOCR) was established in November 2012, to unite all of the WPNLA special forces units. West Papua's Special Operations Command Regiment is of equivalent status to West Papua's Maritime, Land and Air Commands. It is modelled on the equivalent commands in the United States, Australia and British militaries.
